Your CLP can now nominate candidates for the National Constitutional Committee (NCC) and Conference Arrangements Committee (CAC). These are incredibly important internal elections taking place later this year. The NCC deals with disciplinary matters within the party – a role which, unfortunately, has become increasingly important in recent years. The CAC deals with matters related to Labour Party Conference, including setting the agenda.
That’s why we need strong moderate candidates with a proven track record of good decision making on these important committees. For this reason, we would suggest you nominate Ruth Burley and Kevin Hepworth for NCC, along with Gloria De Piero and Michael Cashman for CAC.
